Stage 3: Tour De France

Stage 3: Javo and myself enjoy the coastline.

This was a stage categorized as flat but the rolling hills made it rather hard. We rode by the coast for a while and drunk water from the wells you can easily find along the route.

The small towns along the coast looked perfect for retirement. Maybe one day. The downside to riding along the coast is the head and crosswinds. Hopefully it’s making me stronger along the way.

This route brought us into France. Surprisingly from the little current experience, the drivers are not as friendly to cyclists compared to Spain (where we spent the first two days). We got to the end a little late and the police wouldn’t let us ride the last kilometer as they were organizing for the pros. Putting up platforms and podiums. My intermediate French continues to pay off as I was able to atleast impress the policemen with stories of our endeavors. The police was still unmoved so we headed to the camping van to prepare for the next day.
