Stage 19: Tour De France

This was another good stage. The peloton was the biggest we have had since Javo and I started riding with Claire FLORET and her team of 9 mighty women warriors (DDEAV).

The stage was the perfect mix of everything. It had about 6,000ft which is perfect to not get bored. The rolling hills keep you awake after lunch when the 2pm feeling hits. The scenery was also diverse. We got a good view of French farmers (sunflowers and all) but also some incredibly blue lakes. The descents were manageable.

We ended the stage at a cheese house. I learned that the cheese we were enjoying is from non pasteurized milk and technically can not be sold in the USA. So I took the opportunity to enjoy some. This is probably blasphemy but the Apple juice they were serving was to die for and probably should have saved the name.
